With mature Welsh Cheddar and plenty of parmesan, our biscuits have a real bite to them, with just a hint of chilli for an added something.

You can buy them online for £2.50 a roll (which makes about 20 biscuits) and they’ll easily keep for a month in the fridge.

Already bought some of our biscuits and forgotten the instructions?

They’re dead simply to cook: Unwrap the biscuit roll and slice into pound coin size thicknesses (you should get about 20 biscuits per roll).

Pop the slices on a baking tray and bake them at 170 degrees centigrade for 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Be careful about over-cooking: there’s so much cheese in the recipe that they can get a bit bitter if they burn.

Leave to cool for a couple of minutes to make sure they don’t fall apart on you and they’re ready to serve. We think they go pretty well with a beer or nice glass of fizz.

They’re best eaten fresh, but if you can manage not to nibble them all straight away, they’ll keep for a day or so in an airtight container.
