The Pryd o Fwyd cafe is next to our restaurant and is open Wednesday to Saturday 10-4.

As well as serving freshly ground coffee and a range of teas, you can enjoy a great selection of freshly cooked meals and snacks.

Want something a little more? Our bar is open from 11am until late, for a selection of great beers, wine, spirits and more.

It’s not just eating and drinking though: Top up the larder with a freshly made loaf of bread, or buy some of Pryd’s delicious cheese biscuits!

The old village post office in Ferryside closed with the retirement of the Postmistress, Hilary Evans.

Since then, Pryd has provided a Post Office counter service to the village within our cafe.

It’s so important to us that a Post Office remain in the village and, with no other applications, the service would have disappeared completely, with villagers and visitors having to drive to Carmarthen or Kidwelly for Post Office services.

The Post Office counter now open from 9.30-4 Wednesday to Friday, and 10.30-1 on Saturdays.
