Well, our Card Bingo winner didn’t find the box of cash this week, so £184 rolls over to our next quiz on the 25th August, where it will be added to by that week’s prize money .

Busy week at Pryd this week! Open as normal on Wednesday, and we've got a Caribbean Themed quiz on Thursday - with a few tables still available.

The restaurant is then closed for private functions on Friday and Saturday night, and pleased to say we're now fully booked on Sunday. ...

This week's menu is a proper treat with a whole host of delicious dishes.

From Chicken Livers with a New Potato, Black Pudding & Quail's Egg Salad, to a Ceviche of Salmon for starters, wonderful Slow Roasted Lamb Shank, a traditional Linguine Vongole, loaded with fresh Clams,... Parsley and White Wine, or proper Homemade Chicken Kiev, there's plenty to choose from.

We were only informed at 9.30 this morning that the planned power cut had been cancelled. Unfortunately due to the short notice we are unable to provide staff cover for the post office and cafe today. Bar area will open at 4pm and evening service will go ahead as planned at 6pm. Our menu this week is delicious with some gorgeous homemade Gravadlax, infused with Tequila & Lime, a Traditional Steak Tartare, and a fantastically light Carpaccio of Beetroot with Mozzerella.

Mains include Rack of Gower Salt Marsh Lamb, Monkfish & Prawn Goan Curry and a Pan Fried... Fillet of Sea Bass.

And for pudding, as well as Guy's amazing Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake and Chocolate Brownie, there's a wonderfully light Lemon Posset.

It’s Curry night this Thursday, with dinner starting from 6pm and the quiz at 7.30pm.

We're looking for great full & part time Front of House staff to serve customers at Pryd o Fwyd.

Experience is welcome, but not necessary. What's important is an interest in food and drink, a friendly and lively personality, good organisation, and the desire to help our ...customers to have an enjoyable experience.

Working patterns are Wednesday to Sunday, mainly evenings and weekends - with full and part time hours available.

Pay rates depend on role and experience.
